In January of 2002, we decided that for many people, taking on-line courses -- alone -- was not enough. It would be helpful to have support and guidance from living human beings. So the mentor program was born. As mentors, we review and correspond with students about their answers to course study questions, and provide whatever spiritual support and direction we can. This program has proved popular, and for our students as well as ourselves, very useful. What they say about teaching is true: "Sometimes the best way to learn is to teach."
