It starts with this: a wish to help others. A wish for the understanding that will help unravel confusions and correct the misunderstandings that make life difficult, if not hopeless. We WISH for understanding, we PRAY for it. And, we WORK to understand as best as we can. Desire, prayer, work, and spiritual guidance combine to help us better understand the things we're trying to help others with.
